Re: West Ham, they are the Aldi and Lidl of the Premier League
Haven't read the article but I'd take it as quite a compliment. Although Lidl and Aldi don't have quite as big a range as their competitors, overall the quality of their food is pretty good. Tick. They are well run organisations doing damage to their larger competitors. Tick.

Would rather be a Lidl or Aldi then a Tesco. Arrogant, too big for it's boots, treats it's suppliers like shite and now posting the 6th or 7th biggest loss in British corporate history...

Why would anyone sneer that the club reducing prices so they can fill up the stadium? Of course they're reducing prices to fill up the stadium.

A half-full stadium would be pointless and no one's going to pay full price for seats up in the clouds.

Re: West Ham, they are the Aldi and Lidl of the Premier League
So essentially he’s saying : the gang of three, may have ulterior motives in reducing ticket prices for their loyal fans and have achieved same by some shrewd business moves and working the media very well. Why does he feel the need to state ‘who cares’? is all a bit bollocky! He would be better served reporting on the fact that while the ticket prices have correctly been reduced, do they reflect value for money? Based on current form, what passes for entertainment, then the tickets are still too expensive. Their priority is indeed bums on seats, don’t blame them for that, but give us some entertainment, loyalty and actual football for close to 90 minutes worthy of the price and get rid of BFS so we can actually think someone in charge gives a fuck. Barclay, he gets paid for writing that bollocks.

I'm just glad were not being likened to the pound shop!!

Plus Aldi and Lidls wines are top notch - shit all over Tesco and much better value than the likes of Majestic too!

Re: West Ham, they are the Aldi and Lidl of the Premier League
It would be complimentary if you removed the repeated catchphrase of "but who cares?"

As it has those , it feels like it's trying to whip up a little bit of bad feeling towards us.

Very snidey.
